Beginning June 22nd, we will be worshiping at 10am at St. Anne Belfield School's Lower Campus (799 Faulconer Dr) while work is done at Mountain View.

COMMKIDS

The children's ministry at CCC seeks gospel transformation for the youngest of our attenders by creating a safe, loving environment where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught to children in age appropriate ways.

We also seek to provide the parents of our church the opportunity to be fed and renewed by hearing the truth of the Gospel in church in order to be able to share that truth and love with their children. We also want to provide children the opportunity to have relationships with one another and develop their understanding of God within fellowship.

New to CommKids?

We are so excited that you are considering joining us during Sunday service! Here are some helpful things for you to know about our program before you arrive. Still have more questions? Check out our FAQ Sheet.

  • We offer care for Infants (birth-steady walkers), Toddlers (steady walkers- 2 year olds),  CK-1 (3-5 year olds), CK-2 (Kindergarten-2nd graders), and. CK-3 (3rd-5th graders).

  • Upon registration and arrival to the CommKids wing, one of our friendly team members will show you to the appropriate class. You and your child will check your child into their specific class where your child will receive a nametag that includes your emergency contact information. Check-in begins at 9:45am. Upon the close of the service, you will return to your child's class to sign them out.

Classrooms

  • We offer five classes to make sure our youngest children have a fun, safe place to be loved and learn about Jesus while their families worship in the sanctuary.

           Infants (birth-steady walkers)
           Toddlers
(steady walkers- 2 year olds)
           CK-1
(3-5 year olds)
           CK-2
(Kindergarten-2nd graders)
           CK-3
(3rd-5th graders)

We also offer a weekly, Sermon Bulletin, designed specifically for children who do not participate in CommKids to take with them into “big church” as a guide to help them engage with worship. Our friendly greeters will have these available at the main entrance to the church.

Curriculum

We use The Gospel Project Curriculum by Lifeway Publishing. We are working through the curriculum volume by volume. Each story and lesson, whether Old Testament or New Testament, points to God's story of redemption--the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each Sunday, your child will learn about God and how to live in a God-honoring way through age-appropriate, scripture-based activities, crafts, songs, stories and theological questions. These lessons will offer plenty of fun and hands-on activities to help your child learn and grow in their faith and understanding.

Safety

Your child’s safety is our priority. From check in to check out, every CommKids team member has been thoroughly vetted and trained to ensure that your child has a safe and fun experience in CommKids. All team members have passed a thorough background check administered by an outside company. We will contact parents via text or phone call if we need to do so during the service.
