Love Cville is a yearly church-wide emphasis in which we set aside a week or two to intentionally love, serve, and share with our city in hopes that they would experience firsthand the love of Jesus.  Feel free to look through the various ways in which our church will be serving this week and sign up for as many of them as you like.  Thanks so much for all the ways in which each of you are loving and caring for our city!

YoungLives is a ministry for teen moms and their children to share the gospel, mentor, and change generational cycles.  We will be hosting a pool party for these moms and their families in order to further bonds between girls and their mentors! We are looking for help providing and serving food for our dinner. We especially need a few Spanish speakers to help translate for our moms and mentors!  

Join CCC and Moe's BBQ at the Charlottesville Back to School Bash! We will be helping Moe's owner and CCC member Derek Bond to hand out free Moe's and share the gospel. This will take place from 9:30am-noon at the Ting Pavilion on the downtown mall. 

Each year we get the opportunity to provide a lunch for teachers, staff, administration at Mountain View Elementary. We would love for several people to help set up and tear down the event with us. This will take place from 10:30am-12:30pm on Monday, August 12 at Mountain View Elementary. 

Each year the Southwood community hosts a back to school event for low income families where kids can come get backpacks, free food, and meet their teachers.  This year we are going to provide snow cones for the kids and their families, paint some faces, and look for opportunities to share the gospel with those who are there. 

We will be serving teachers and hammering out projects to help get Mountain View ready to welcome kids this fall. Join us Wednesday, August 14 from 6pm-8pm at Mountain View.
