Love Cville is a yearly church-wide emphasis in which we set aside a week or two to intentionally love, serve, and share with our city in hopes that they would experience firsthand the love of Jesus. This year is going to look much different in light of the ongoing pandemic, but we are excited about many of the new opportunities that God has dropped in our lap this year. Feel free to look through the various ways in which our church will be serving this week and sign up for as many of them as you like. Thanks so much for all the ways in which each of you are loving and caring for our city!

Neighborhood Prayer Walk
Time: You determine
As we begin this week of intentional ministry to our city, let’s spend some time as a church family petitioning God to move in our town, and more specifically, in each of our neighborhoods. Take a walk by yourself or with your family and use this time to pray for your neighbors specifically and by name.
Don’t know what to pray for? Here are some ideas!
Don’t know who your neighbors are? No problem! If you would like to get a list of your neighbors to pray for, you can go to www.blesseveryhome.com and sign up, and they can tell you. This is an incredible tool that allows you to be able to minister more effectively around your home.
Don’t know what to pray for? Here are some ideas!
- Pray for any needs that you know neighbors have.
- Pray for their mental, physical, and spiritual health during this time.
- Pray that your neighbors would see and realize their need for Christ.
- Pray that God would draw them to Himself.
- Pray for an openness to the good news of the gospel.
- Pray for opportunities for you to personally share the gospel with these neighbors

Serving at Mountainview Elementary (formerly Cale)
6:00-8:00pm
Come serve alongside us as we help the staff and teachers at our host elementary school prepare for a most unusual year. As you can imagine, there is lots of work to be done in order to prepare for students to be able to come and learn in person. Those who come will be required to wear masks and we will work in ways in which social distancing will be maintained for the safety of all of our volunteers.

Southwood Grocery Delivery
Time: You determine
This is an opportunity for you (and your family if you wish) to help purchase groceries and deliver diapers to families that we have partnered with in the Southwood community. All grocery purchases will be reimbursed, and diapers will be made available for free. . . we just need buyers and deliverers. Would you join us?

Virtual Baby Shower
9:00am-12:00pm
This is an opportunity to bless a single mom from Guatemala with some baby gifts. Our church has built a relationship with Carmelinda during this pandemic season, and she recently gave birth to a new baby girl. We would love to shower her with some new and gently used items for this precious little gift.
Young Lives Blessings Baskets
9:00am-12:00pm
Young Lives is an extension of Young Life that supports and mentors teen and young mothers through Christ-centered relationships. There have recently been 6 new babies (4 boys and 2 girls) born in their ministry, and we would love to bless these new moms in tangible ways. You may drop off new or gently used items at the CCC ANNEX building on Thursday, between 9:00 and 12:00 or coordinate a no contact delivery if you prefer.
Apparelpalooza in Southwood
5:30pm-8:00pm
Custom Ink has graciously donated a truckload of new apparel that didn’t quite make the color or text grade for us to give out in the Southwood community. We will set up tables at the community center to make the clothing available as well as hand out popsicles to the families who live there. All of this will be done outdoors while maintaining social distancing and adhering to all current health guidelines.
