A Future Home.
And in the 16th year, God said, “Let there be land!” We are so excited to announce that
God has graciously provided our church with a beautiful piece of property just a stone’s
throw away from Mountain View Elementary School where our church has met for the
past 15 years. We are blown away by God’s provision for our church family and can’t
wait to see what He has planned for our church in the months and years to come.
The 7-acre property is located off Scottsville Road (Rt. 20) just south of the Avinity
subdivision and looks out towards Carter’s Mountain. . . It is absolutely breathtaking!
There is a ranch-style house on the property as well that we plan to renovate and use
for ministry purposes in the initial building phase. By God’s grace, and because of the
faithfulness and generosity of the people of CCC over the years, we were able to pay
cash for the entire site!
We see this as the next step in the growth and mission of our church. While we have
loved our time at Mountain View, we long for a more permanent space of our own that
we can utilize throughout the week as a place for worship and a base for ministry. We
are currently unable to offer as many mid-week programs as we would like as well as
summer programs such as VBS. We also desire to have a place and space for the
community to connect with us throughout the week as well. We are so excited to see all
the ways in which God will use this new facility for His glory and for gospel
transformation here in our city.
